Primitive Camp Site

Primitive camping is available to experienced campers who wish to hang in their hammocks or camp in the pines. Primitive campers will need to be able to walk or drive to the bathhouse from the site, which is located on the Bluebird Trail over by the Tavern. Primitive campers: expect a camping experience similar to camping at the Shenandoah National Park. Our "no frills" primitive camping site offers a place to pitch a tent, hang a hammock in the trees, and the fire ring doubles as a charcoal grill.
