Fees and Features
- Camp on riverfront tent sites - fire rings (double as charcoal grills), picnic tables - $45.00 per night plus tax - 1 or 2 tents per site- max 4 ppl (electricity and water access to all sites).
- Extra Adults - $10.00 each per Day or Overnight (Parking is limited- must be pre-approved for additional vehicles)
- Extra children over 6 / adults - $10.00 each per Day or Overnight
- Children under 6 are FREE
- Groups Welcome ... Tubing, Anthony's Pizza delivers- perfect for b-day parties of all ages

- We offer tubing, rafts, canoes, kayaks, etc. If you opt to bring your own tube, raft, canoe or kayak etc., you are welcome to do so. THERE IS A RIVER ACCESS FEE to enter the river or exit the river at the kamp - - to be determined according to what you wish to bring and where you wish to access the river.
- Pets must be pre-approved, friendly, quiet, and kept on a leash unless swimming. Pets must be crated if left unattended inside of a yurt. Pet fees apply.
- Cancellation Policy for tent sites: Cancelled reservations are subject to a $15 handling fee if cancellation is at least 30 days prior to arrival. Any cancellations less than 30 days in advance will forfeit 50% of total. Cancellations occurring less than 4 days from arrival will forfeit 100% of total. Always have the option to reschedule. All cancellation requests must contact Annette Cates direct (540) 843-4232.
- Refund Policy: There will be absolutely no refunds of camp fees once paid under any circumstances including but not limited to adverse weather, injury or early check-out
- Check In and Check Out Policy: Check in time is 12 noon on day of arrival. - for tent sites.
- Liability Policy: Under no circumstances will #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp owners, family, employees, agents or contractors be liable for any injury or illness that may occur while using #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp facilities including but not limited to swimming, wading, fishing, tubing, canoeing, or kayaking. To further include hay wagon rides and pony rides (when available). Enjoy our property, but use is at your own risk.

All guests may reserve tubes, canoes, and kayaks at our #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp (rental rates apply). Complimentary shuttles are available with advance notice. Tubing trips are approximately 2 1/2 hour floats, or less, depending upon river level at the time.
River Access Fee: When you bring your own tubes, kayaks, or canoes, you will be charged a river access fee that applies to your entire stay, per site, minimum of $25.00 based upon how many and what you bring. The one-time river access fee applies to the 1850's Massanutten Springs Retreat, the 1947 Rock Tavern Retreat and the #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp yurt and tent site rentals.
