Tips about booking Combo Yurts and Tent Sites at #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp for your Next Group Event

Hi, Everyone. Thanks so much for your inquiries about booking combinations of yurts and/or tent sites at the #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp. Here are some tips along with an aerial view of the kamp that may answer some of your initial questions. Please take a look before you book:

(Important: When booking the #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp for your next group event, online, please enter your group name followed by your first and last name):

Any combination of yurts at the #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp will be great for your next small group gathering. The #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp is a small campground with 6 yurts and 6 tents sites. The whole place is on the Shenandoah River! You will have the proper distance apart however you'll be just footsteps of one another (great for keeping your group together). Note: The Blue Bird Yurt sits back from the other yurts, so it can be part of the group -- or not.

About the Yurts:

The Dancin' Wolf Yurt is center of property will sleep up to 7 adults or children comfortably.
To left of the Dancin' Wolf Yurt is the Painted Horse Yurt. The Painted Horse Yurt will sleep up to 7 can be adults or children (more suited for children).
Then the Blue Bird Yurt will sleep up to 3 adults comfortable or 2 adults 2 children ( using a folding cot).
Next, the Cherokee Rose Yurt will sleep up to 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults 2 children.
The Dream Catcher Yurt sleeps 3 adults with 1 child or 2 adults 2 children.
The Hummingbird Yurt will sleep up to 3 adults and 1 child or 2 adults 2 children.
All yurts at the #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp are within footsteps of one another, and all are within footsteps of the bathhouse and river.

About booking tent sites at the #1 Rock Tavern River Kamp:

Site 10 and site 11 are waterfront and are next to the Hummingbird Yurt.
Sites 3 and 4 are waterfront and next to the Cherokee Rose Yurt.
Site 9 is in front of Dancin Wolf Yurt and site 6 is behind it. Site 9 is on waterfront although the deck is there too -- which is used by all to access the river.
On site 6 or site 9, you'll need a 25 ft extension cord.
